About

NovareTech is a brainchild of a few South African Engineers, it is a true representation of their character and the experiences they have been through. Having spent a few years in the water and wastewater treatment field, doing research, designing treatment plants, and most importantly developing ideas of how things can and should change; they came up with ‘NovareTech’. The company’s conception and approach is based on ‘old tried and tested’ engineering principles, applied with modern thinking, experience and a look into the future. The word itself is a combination a medieval language of diplomacy and one of the widely spoken languages currently; it is a marriage of Latin word ‘Novare’ and Technology (an English word). Novare can be loosely translated to ‘to make new’, while Tech is technology in its shortened version.

NovareTech engineers have designed a few treatment plants in South Africa and Africa at large (in collaboration with local and European professionals). We believe in continuos learning and drawing experiences, and technologies from the world-over for local application. We work hand-in-hand with international UV units, Ultra-filtration Membranes, fine bubble diffusers and blowers suppliers while also capable of using low-tech treatment approaches such as slow sand filters and reedbeds.
